This semester has been filled with many amazing memories. On April 6th and 7th, we traveled to the University of Central Florida in Orlando for a tournament and went 4-0 for our A team and 3-1 for our B team!
A team beat Georgia Tech, FSU, Emory, and UCF B
B team beat Emory, Georgia Tech, and Alabama
On April 13th and 14th, our teams traveled to Florida State University for the Southeastern Regional Tournament. Our A team placed second to FSU in a nail-biting game that went into overtime. Our B team placed fourth after a rematch with UCF A. Overall, it was a great tournament and we are so proud of all of our girls!
Our final practice was on April 21st. To any players that will be in Gainesville during the summer, practices begin on May 13th and will take place Monday and Wednesday 6:15-7:45. We hope to see you there!
We had yet another successful fundraiser, partnering with Playa Bowls, organized by our amazing fundraising chair, Rachel Obora!
Additionally, our annual banquet was on April 26th. Thank you to our social chairs Halle Dolce and Carolina Villarini for organizing this event!
